My husband went in for a consult and now is on a path to getting a smile that will change his life. He has gone to countless dentists and they just have offered band-aids or just a fix for one issue. Dr. Studerus has given him options that will not only improve his smile, but his bite as well. His plan will be a long lasting fix. Caring about your patients long-term care is what he is about. All of the employees there are so great. We feel very lucky to have found a doctor who is down to earth and great at what he does.
Rely on Our Experience When Your Smile Is on the Line
Over the years, we have treated just about every type of dental emergency possible, so you can feel good about trusting your smile to our care. We will do all we can to get you out of pain and help you feel comfortable again. We use some of the latest treatment techniques and technologies to do so, including intraoral cameras and panoramic X-rays.
Below are some common dental emergencies, as well as steps you should take before you’re seen in our office:
- Toothache – Rinse your mouth with warm water, then apply ice or a cold compress to your cheek near the tooth.
- Loose Tooth – Apply ice to the area near the tooth and take an over-the-counter pain reliever such as ibuprofen.
- Broken Tooth – Retrieve any broken pieces and bring them with you to the office.
- Knocked-Out Tooth – Try to reinsert the tooth if possible. If not, place it in a container of milk or saliva and bring it with you.
- Loose Crown – Try to reattach the crown using a small amount of dental cement or toothpaste. Bring it with you if it won’t stay in place.
- Soft Tissue Injury – Use gauze or a moist tea bag to stop any bleeding. Go to the emergency room if the bleeding doesn’t stop in a few minutes.
